This is the
route of truffles that are found by Marušić family during the season
and are brought fresh directly to the restaurant's table. They are
served with pasta, first-class meat, trout or simply grated with
famous "buzetska fritada" (scrambled eggs).

Truffle-hunting
and olive-growing family tradition is summed up with Stara Oštarija
restaurant, and represents the very best of Istrian north and Buzet
area. Especially when it comes to the unique Croatian, European
and world forrest fruit, his royal highness, the Istrian great white
truffle (lat. tuber magnatum pico).
